BRIAN T. BURKHARDT

Brian grew up in the small town of Willis, Texas located just north of Houston. He attended Willis High School, where he played football. After high school, Brian went off to the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business.

 

After his undergrad, Brian decided to move west and attended the Texas Tech University School of Law. There, he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree and passed both the Texas and Oklahoma bar exams. He is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Oklahoma, as well as in Federal Court in the Northern District of Texas.

At Texas Tech, Brian was elected Chairman of the school's trial advocacy organization, the Board of Barristers. He also participated on a number of national advocacy teams that competed all over the country, including the American Bar Association's Arbitration Competition at the ABA headquarters in Chicago. Among these titles include the regional championship of the National Trial Competition, where his team defeated Baylor. Brian was also selected as a member of the Order of the Barristers honor society.

When he's not at the office, you can find Brian at the local climbing gym training for the next season of American Ninja Warrior, which he has been featured on each of the last five years. Keep an eye out for him on this upcoming season of the Emmy- nominated television show on NBC!
